Intel Corporation’s early stage accelerator program, Intel Ignite, continues to grow, selecting 30 new disruptive deep-tech startups to join its global cohorts, establishing a customer advisory board and launching a new program in London.

“We had over 800 startups apply for our accelerator program for the spring cohort. We chose 30 total across Israel, Europe and the United States. These startups have garnered on average $7.1 million in funding, demonstrating that promising deep-tech early stage startups still get funded despite economic headwinds.” –Tzahi Weisfeld, Intel vice president and general manager of Intel Ignite

The new global cohort and the addition of the customer advisory board further display Intel’s commitment to stimulating startup ecosystems around the globe. New cohort members, including those in London, Boston, Tel Aviv and Munich, span a range of technology innovations.

In addition to the cohort announcement, Intel Ignite has established its first-ever customer advisory board of chief technology officers, chief information officers and chief data officers from leading companies. Members will help connect cohort startup leaders with high-level tech executives for feedback and business collaboration. Customer advisory board members will also be able to connect advisers to top disruptors in the tech ecosystem, developing a networking pool and opportunities to gain market insights and collaboration prospects with their peers.

“Working with Intel Ignite’s accelerator program has given me the unique opportunity to meet and learn from the up-and-coming tech startups,” said Motti Finkelstein, Intel corporate vice president, digital transformation officer and chairman of the Intel Ignite customer advisory board. “With the establishment of this advisory board, we hope to create a cross-pollinating community for mentorship and business collaborations, while keeping abreast with market trends and emerging technologies.”

The deep-tech startup growth program, which launched in 2019, leverages Intel’s wide range of resources to help early stage companies succeed by empowering founders to enhance their valuation, optimize their fundraising and achieve lasting strategic impact. Since the program’s launch, the participating companies have achieved magnificent results with nearly $1.5 billion in funding.
