  • Financial institutions form a major part of Encore’s client base, with the company expanding its services for businesses managing high volumes of customer conversations.

NEW YORK, July 29, 2026 — Encore has raised $30 million in a Series A funding round led by Team8 as the startup develops AI voice agents trained on real customer conversations. The company studies how employees communicate with customers, identifies patterns linked to successful outcomes, and uses those insights to train AI agents that can support customer service and sales operations or operate independently. Founded in 2022 as Insait IO by Dvir Ginzburg, CEO, the company began by creating recommendation software for financial advisers and relationship managers. It later expanded that technology into a platform that analyzes customer interactions across calls, emails and text messages to identify communication methods that work best.

The funding round also included participation from Planven, Lukatz and Garage, along with banks and insurance companies. Some financial institutions that invested in the round had previously used Encore’s technology. The company plans to use the funding to expand its U.S. sales operations and deploy its platform with more large financial institutions. With more than 40 enterprise customers globally and annual recurring revenue that has grown more than five times since its seed round less than 18 months ago, Encore is expanding its reach among organizations using AI for customer service and sales operations.

Turning Customer Conversations into AI Knowledge

Encore’s platform is built around what Ginzburg calls “interaction mining.” The system collects call recordings, emails, and text messages, then connects that information with CRM systems to examine customer conversations. It divides interactions into different stages and studies which parts helped move a conversation forward and which parts failed to deliver results. The company uses these findings to train AI agents based on the communication methods used by an organization’s employees.

According to Ginzburg, Encore’s agents can reflect the successful practices of relationship managers and other customer-facing employees. The agents may use examples, anecdotes, or communication styles that have worked during previous interactions because the technology is trained on real customer conversations. Ginzburg described the agents as a collection of different playbooks identified from successful customer interactions. The platform enables companies to capture employee expertise and use it to improve AI-driven customer interactions.

AI Agents Designed for Sales and Customer Support

Encore enables companies to deploy AI agents that communicate with customers through voice or text. These agents can manage customer interactions directly or assist employees by recommending responses and engagement strategies during conversations. The platform also helps organisations identify areas where their existing sales and customer support processes are not working effectively, including points where customers face difficulties or where internal processes create delays.

The company serves more than 40 enterprise customers worldwide, with most customers coming from financial institutions, according to Ginzburg. Banks and insurers represent a significant part of Encore’s customer base because they manage large volumes of customer communication. The platform analyses customer conversations to identify effective communication patterns that can be applied across sales and customer service operations.

Competing Through Conversation Data

Encore is entering a sector where large CRM providers, including Salesforce, SAP, Zoho and HubSpot, could develop similar AI capabilities using the customer data already stored within their platforms. Ginzburg believes access to customer data alone is not enough because companies need to use historical conversations as a foundation for training AI agents. He said established providers would need to make major changes to their technology systems to collect and use conversational history in the same way.

Ginzburg said many large technology providers currently do not treat customer conversations as a source of operational knowledge. Instead, they often view conversational history as another data point within their systems. Encore’s technology focuses on analysing those conversations to understand what communication methods work during customer interactions. The company believes this focus on conversation history gives it a different approach from platforms that rely mainly on customer records.

Funding Supports Enterprise Expansion

Encore plans to use the funding to expand its U.S. sales operations and reach more financial institutions. The company also expects to continue developing AI agents to support customer-facing operations while learning from employees' communication methods. The funding round included investment from financial institutions that had already experienced Encore’s technology as customers.

The company’s journey began with recommendation software for financial advisers and relationship managers before expanding into AI agents trained on customer interactions. Today, Encore analyses conversations, identifies successful communication patterns and uses those findings to support AI-powered customer engagement. As businesses explore new ways to use artificial intelligence in sales and customer service, Encore is focused on using real customer interactions as the foundation for its technology.

With more than 40 enterprise customers globally and annual recurring revenue that has grown more than five times since its seed round less than 18 months ago, Encore is expanding its reach among organizations using AI for customer service and sales operations.
