XSEED Education is an EdTech learning company that focuses on improving how children understand and apply concepts in the classroom. Built on the belief that education should go beyond memorization, it emphasizes hands-on learning, problem-solving, and critical thinking. The curriculum is designed to make learning interactive and engaging, ensuring students grasp the 'why' behind what they study. Schools use this approach to make lessons more meaningful and effective. By equipping teachers with structured lesson plans and training, XSEED Education enhances both instruction and student outcomes, making learning an active process rather than a passive experience.

In Conversation with Ashish Rajpal, Founder & CEO of XSEED Education

What led you to start XSEED Education?

I saw firsthand how traditional education often prioritizes rote learning over understanding. Children memorized facts without knowing how to apply them. That gap motivated me to create a system where students develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills. We wanted to make sure learning was not just about exams but about real-world application.

How does XSEED Education change the way children learn?

Our approach makes learning active. Instead of just listening and repeating, students engage in experiments, discussions, and hands-on activities. Teachers guide them through structured steps that encourage questioning and deeper thinking. This ensures that concepts are not just learned but understood and applied.

What challenges did you face while introducing this method?

Changing mindsets was one of the biggest hurdles. Many schools and parents were accustomed to traditional methods and were hesitant to try something new. It took time to demonstrate how our approach improves learning outcomes. Once teachers saw students thinking independently and performing better, acceptance grew.

How do teachers adapt to this system?

We provide extensive training and step-by-step lesson plans that make implementation easier. Teachers are at the center of this approach, so equipping them with the right tools and confidence is essential. Many educators appreciate the structure and clarity it brings to their teaching.

What role does technology play in XSEED Education?

Technology supports and enhances our methodology. We use digital tools to provide assessments, track progress, and give teachers instant feedback. It’s not about replacing traditional teaching but about making learning more effective and accessible.

What has been the most rewarding part of this journey?

Seeing students enjoy learning and use what they’ve learned in real life is the most fulfilling part. When a child confidently explains a concept rather than just repeating definitions, we know we’ve made a difference. Parents and teachers telling us how much their children have improved reinforces why we do this.

How do you measure success?

Success is when students think critically and apply knowledge in different situations. Exam scores improve naturally when students understand concepts, but true success is when they develop skills that help them beyond the classroom. Feedback from schools and student performance in real-life situations help us gauge our impact.

What advice would you give to educators looking to improve learning outcomes?

Focus on understanding rather than memorization. Encourage students to ask questions, experiment, and apply what they learn. Learning should be interactive and engaging, not just about completing a syllabus. When students take ownership of their learning, the results are remarkable.

What’s next for XSEED Education?

We are constantly evolving to refine our methods and expand our reach. The goal is to ensure more children benefit from this approach, whether through schools, digital tools, or teacher training. We want to make meaningful learning accessible to as many students as possible.
