“We believe that the optimal way to address data issues for SMEs is to provide data and AI as-a-Service.”

ARM Hub, a leading Australian robotics, artificial intelligence (AI) and manufacturing industry hub, announced plans to launch a Data and AI-as-a-Service offering in 2024 aimed at supplying manufacturers with scalable and secure data and AI infrastructure fully deployed in the cloud.

ARM Hub plans to help manufacturers become expert users of data and AI. The as-a-service model will provide tailored AI tools such as chatbots, synthetic data generation and bespoke applications hosted on state-of-the-art cloud infrastructure. This is designed to ensure data privacy while enabling responsible data and AI use.

ARM Hub has been a pioneer in deploying robotics and automation solutions for Australian manufacturers since its founding in 2010. The organization has helped dozens of small and medium-sized companies implement robotic systems for fabrication, palletizing, pick and place, machine tending and other factory applications.

The Data and AI-as-a-Service builds on this experience assisting manufacturers with technology adoption and integration. By leveraging ARM Hub's expertise, manufacturers can avoid common data management pitfalls and quickly realize returns on their AI investments. The service may potentially accelerate AI adoption throughout Australia's manufacturing sector.

ARM Hub CEO and Founder, Dr Cori Stewart said, “We believe that the optimal way to address data issues for SMEs is to provide data and AI as-a-Service.”

The offering makes advanced analytics and AI more accessible for organizations of all sizes, allowing them to tap into the power of their data to drive better decisions without building complex in-house platforms.

With the rapid evolution of generative AI, manufacturers and supply chain firms are seeking support to become expert users of data and AI technologies. ARM Hub's Data and AI-as-a-Service aims to meet this need by providing the infrastructure, tools and expertise required in an affordable, scalable package.
