What inspired you to start CorePlan, and what problem were you aiming to solve?

I have always been passionate about technology and how it can simplify complex industries. In mining and exploration, I saw firsthand how teams were relying on outdated systems, leading to lost time and inefficiencies. We wanted to create a platform that would bring everything into one place, making operations smoother and decision-making faster.

How did you develop the idea into a functioning platform?

We spent a lot of time talking to industry professionals, understanding their pain points, and testing different solutions. The key was making something that integrated seamlessly into existing workflows while offering a significant improvement over traditional methods. We focused on usability, automation, and real-time data to ensure teams could rely on CorePlan for their day-to-day operations.

What were some of the biggest challenges in the early stages?

Convincing teams to move away from legacy systems was a challenge. Many companies had been using the same spreadsheets and manual processes for years, so there was hesitation about change. We had to demonstrate not just the efficiency gains but also how easy it was to adopt and integrate our platform into their existing workflows.

How does CorePlan differ from other data management tools in the mining sector?

Our focus is on simplicity and automation. Many tools in the industry are overly complex or require extensive customization. We built CorePlan to be intuitive and ready to use out of the box. We also emphasize real-time collaboration, ensuring that teams, whether on-site or in an office, always have access to up-to-date information without delays or miscommunication.

How do you ensure that CorePlan keeps up with industry demands and technological advancements?

We work closely with our users to understand their needs and challenges. Feedback is critical, and we continuously refine the platform based on real-world use cases. We also stay ahead by incorporating the latest advancements in cloud computing, automation, and data analytics to keep CorePlan at the cutting edge.

What motivates you to keep pushing CorePlan forward?

Where do you see CorePlan in the next five years?

We’re focused on scaling and continuously improving the platform. We want to ensure that every exploration and drilling team has access to the best possible tools to manage their operations.
