In modern surgery, precision is not merely an advantage; it is a necessity. As procedures become more complex and surgeons operate in intricate anatomical structures, the ability to accurately locate, visualize, and assess targeted areas in real time has become critical. Every decision depends on having the right information at the right moment to support better surgical outcomes.

While advances in surgical techniques have improved patient care, challenges remain in achieving consistent visibility, accurate localization, and uninterrupted workflow during procedures. Surgeons require solutions that reduce uncertainty, minimize disruptions, and provide greater control without adding complexity to existing surgical practices.

Addressing these evolving needs, Elucent Medical, a leading medical technology company, is advancing surgical guidance through innovative 3D spatial positioning technology. Built on the principles of In-Body Spatial Intelligence™ (iSi), the company’s EnVisio® platform provides real-time data on depth, distance, and direction, empowering surgeons with smarter tools that enhance precision, improve efficiency, and support better outcomes from localization through surgery.

Elucent’s EnVisio platform features an adaptive design and seamless integration that elevate surgical precision, enabling an intuitive and uninterrupted experience that empowers surgeons throughout every stage of the procedure.

EnVisio Smart Tool Suite

Elucent’s Smart Tools communicate seamlessly with each other to provide an integrated data system that generates EnVisio’s spatial field.

Sensor: SmartSensor is an attachable device that works with existing instruments, transforming them into smart surgical tools. The device’s adaptive approach enables seamless in-body positioning, reducing the need for additional tool exchanges during surgical procedures and helping surgeons perform more effectively while making surgery less disruptive.

Clip: SmartClip is a permanently implantable soft tissue marker that offers precise, real-time positional data. The device’s differentiated signals provide continuous and accurate visibility of targeted tissue without minimum distance requirements, ensuring consistency even in complex oncoplastic surgeries.

Surface: SmartSurface is a spatial field generator that measures continuous data points across multiple planes, displaying the exact 3D positioning of SmartClip and SmartSensor. The technology enhances surgical awareness with uninterrupted feedback, providing clarity and precision without the need for an additional hand-held localization device.

Support: Elucent offers on-demand, virtual support with the click of a button. Known as SmartSupport™, this service provides technical and clinical assistance through a secure HIPAA-compliant platform. A Minneapolis-based customer service team is available to support surgeons during the EnVisio procedure, ensuring they can navigate each step with confidence.

Who Elucent Serves

Surgeons: In surgery, every millimeter matters. EnVisio’s In-Body Spatial Intelligence™ platform gives surgeons the precision and control they need to navigate challenging anatomy with confidence. Designed to work seamlessly with existing surgical tools, EnVisio® provides uninterrupted visibility of depth, distance, and direction—turning every procedure into a calculated, focused performance. By minimizing the need for additional verification methods and tool transfers, EnVisio enables surgeons to remain fully immersed in the task at hand, potentially reducing overall procedure time and optimizing patient outcomes.

With continuous 3D surgical awareness, EnVisio empowers surgeons to plan their surgical approach from any angle, reducing guesswork and improving precision.

Benefits for Surgeons

Unmatched Surgical Precision: Continuous true 3D surgical awareness provides distance, depth, and direction from the tip of your smart tool to the SmartClip® marker, giving you the confidence to act with precision in real-time.

Effortless Tool Integration: EnVisio integrates smoothly with standard instruments, transforming them into smart surgical tools that enhance your workflow without interruption.

Improved Efficiency and Outcomes: Differentiated SmartClip signals with no minimum distance requirements provide a superior bracketing solution and allow flexibility to plan your surgical approach from any angle, helping you keep focus on what matters most – precision and patient outcomes.

Testimonials

Hear from those Elucent serves about why they choose to partner with the company.
