Nara Logics is a synaptic intelligence platform that helps enterprises build AI advisors for smarter decision-making. Inspired by the brain’s ability to connect diverse information, the platform provides real-time, context-aware recommendations for personalization and decision support. By combining neuroscience and AI, Nara Logics delivers explainable insights that improve outcomes across industries, including healthcare, retail, and financial services.

SME Business Review recently contacted Jana Eggers, CEO of Nara Logics, for an interview to discuss how synaptic intelligence is transforming decision-making and driving innovation across industries. Here’s what she had to say.

Interview Excerpts

What inspired you to develop a platform that uses synaptic intelligence to aid decision-making?

At Nara Logics, we’re deeply inspired by the human brain and its ability to make connections across diverse pieces of information in real time. I’ve always been fascinated by how our minds process complexity so effortlessly, while most traditional AI systems struggle with context and adaptability. Our goal was to create a technology that mimics this natural intelligence, providing businesses with tools to make smarter decisions. Synaptic intelligence was the perfect foundation because it allows us to connect disparate data points and reveal insights that wouldn’t otherwise be apparent.

How does Nara Logics’ platform differ from traditional AI systems?

Traditional AI tends to focus on predefined algorithms and structured data, which can limit flexibility and context. Our platform takes a different approach by drawing from neuroscience. We connect structured and unstructured data, analyze it in real time, and provide actionable recommendations that are both accurate and relevant. What truly sets us apart is explainability. We ensure that users not only get insights but also understand the reasoning behind them, building trust in the system.

Could you share how the platform adapts to new information and changing contexts?

Adaptability is one of the core strengths of our platform. Synaptic intelligence allows us to continuously learn and evolve as new data comes in. For example, in industries like finance, where market conditions shift rapidly, our platform updates recommendations in real time. It’s the same in logistics or healthcare, where variables are constantly changing. This adaptability ensures businesses stay ahead, responding proactively instead of reacting after the fact.

How do businesses integrate your platform with their existing systems?

We’ve designed our platform to be seamless and easy to implement. We understand that organizations can’t afford disruptions during integration, so we built it to complement existing data infrastructures. The goal is to enhance what’s already in place while minimizing friction. Our team works closely with clients to ensure smooth onboarding, and we provide support throughout the process to maximize impact.

What industries have benefited the most from Nara Logics’ platform?

We’ve seen significant impact across industries like retail, healthcare, and financial services. In retail, businesses use our platform to deliver personalized recommendations that genuinely resonate with customers. In healthcare, our platform helps create more accurate treatment plans by analyzing diverse patient data holistically. Financial services benefit from real-time decision support, particularly in risk management and market analysis. The versatility of our technology allows it to adapt to the specific needs of each industry.

Explainability is often overlooked in AI systems. Why is it so important to you?

Explainability is non-negotiable for us. AI systems are often criticized for being black boxes—producing results without clarity on how decisions are made. That’s a trust issue, and it undermines adoption. We believe that users need to understand the reasoning behind recommendations. Our platform provides transparent insights, which not only builds trust but also empowers users to make informed choices.

How does Nara Logics enhance personalization for businesses?

Personalization is about creating meaningful experiences for customers. Our platform ensures that recommendations are deeply informed by context and individual preferences. For instance, in retail, we can suggest products that align closely with what a customer is looking for, not just based on purchase history but by connecting broader behavioral patterns. This level of precision helps businesses build stronger relationships with their customers.

How does your background influence your leadership at Nara Logics?

My background combines technical expertise with a passion for solving complex problems. Before joining Nara Logics, I worked in various roles where I saw firsthand how challenging it can be for businesses to make sense of their data. That experience has shaped how I lead our team. I focus on fostering innovation while ensuring that what we create addresses real-world challenges. It’s about balancing vision with practicality.

What advice would you give to businesses looking to implement AI systems like yours?

Start with clarity about the problem you’re trying to solve. Too often, businesses adopt AI because it’s the trend, not because it’s the right tool for the job. Focus on understanding how AI can enhance your decision-making processes. Look for systems that are transparent, adaptable, and easy to integrate. Finally, don’t underestimate the importance of collaboration. AI works best when paired with human expertise.

What motivates you personally in this work?

I am driven by the potential of technology to make a tangible difference in people’s lives. Decision-making affects everything, from individual businesses to global challenges. If we can create tools that help people make better decisions faster, that’s incredibly rewarding. I also love working with our team. The multidisciplinary approach we take—combining neuroscience, data science, and business strategy—keeps the work exciting and meaningful.

Where do you see Nara Logics heading in the next few years?

We’re excited about expanding the applications of our platform. While we’ve seen great success in industries like retail and healthcare, we believe synaptic intelligence has much broader potential. We’re exploring partnerships in education, sustainability, and public sector initiatives where better decision-making can drive meaningful change. Our focus will remain on enhancing the platform’s capabilities while keeping it accessible and impactful for our clients.
