Washington, D.C. -Jan. 27, 2026 — The Clean Technology Training Trust (CTTT) today announced the formation of its National Advisory Board, a cross-sector group of labor leaders, industry partners, workforce experts, and education innovators committed to strengthening high-quality, worker-centered training and apprenticeship pathways aligned with the nation’s clean transportation and advanced manufacturing economy.
The Advisory Board will provide strategic guidance as CTTT advances its national mission to design and scale industry-aligned, labor-informed pathways supporting careers in medium- and heavy-duty zero-emission vehicle maintenance, battery production, advanced manufacturing 4.0, semiconductor and chip manufacturing, and industrial manufacturing technician roles.
“Employers need skilled talent, and workers deserve clear, supported pathways into good jobs,” said Dave Reaves, Board Chair of the Clean Technology Training Trust and International Vice President, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. “This Advisory Board exists to close that gap, aligning labor, industry, and training systems so the clean economy delivers on its promise for everyone.”
The National Advisory Board will support CTTT by:
1) Advising on national workforce strategy and standards alignment
2) Strengthening labor-management partnerships and employer engagement
3) Supporting scalable and replicable apprenticeship and pre-apprenticeship models
4) Elevating worker voice, job quality, and equitable access to family-sustaining careers
“The transition to a clean economy presents both urgency and opportunity,” said Dr. Kimberly Moore, National Executive Director of the Clean Technology Training Trust. “Our Advisory Board brings together leaders who understand that workforce systems must be built intentionally grounded in labor partnership, aligned with industry demand, and focused on long-term mobility for workers and communities.”
