Bea, The Honey Pot Company emerged from your deeply personal experience. How did the journey of founding the company begin?

Absolutely. The Honey Pot Company started because I faced my own personal health challenges. I struggled with recurring health issues and couldn’t find anything on the market that met my needs, so I decided to create a solution myself. It began as something personal, but as I dove deeper, I realized that a lot of people were looking for something like this—something transparent, effective, and made from natural ingredients. That realization gave me the drive to build a company dedicated to supporting intimate health in a thoughtful, meaningful way.

How did your personal experiences shape the company’s values?

They shaped everything. Because I know what it feels like to not find what you need, I wanted The Honey Pot Company to be about more than just products. I wanted us to stand for something real—to offer solutions that empower people to care for themselves in a way that’s honest and effective. Our products are made with integrity because we value the trust people place in us. And we’re always transparent about our ingredients and practices because I want our customers to know exactly what they’re getting.

You have shaped an environment of inclusion and collaboration at The Honey Pot Company. What inspired you to lead in this way?

For me, leadership isn’t about having all the answers; it’s about creating a space where people feel empowered to share ideas. I believe in collaboration because it helps us bring out the best in each other. When everyone feels they can contribute, we get a broader range of perspectives and ideas, which ultimately makes our products stronger and our approach more genuine. I see The Honey Pot Company as a collective effort, and that’s reflected in how we operate day to day.

The Honey Pot Company has grown rapidly under your leadership. How have you managed to stay grounded in your mission while expanding?

Staying true to our mission is critical. Growth can be exciting, but if it ever meant compromising our core values, I would rather slow down than expand too quickly. Our approach is to grow with intention and keep our customers at the center of what we do. We listen to them and adapt based on what they’re asking for, but we don’t just chase trends. Consistency and quality are non-negotiable for us. It’s how we’ve built a loyal customer base and it’s what keeps us focused, no matter how fast we’re growing.

Education plays a big role in your brand. Why do you place such an emphasis on it?

Education is empowerment. I believe that when people know more about their bodies and their health, they’re better equipped to make choices that work for them. At The Honey Pot Company, we’re not just selling products; we’re helping people understand what they’re using, why it works, and how it can fit into their lives. This transparency builds trust and gives our customers more control over their health, which is something I’m passionate about.

You have faced challenges along the way, both as a leader and as a company. How do you handle setbacks?

I view setbacks as a part of the journey. Every challenge teaches us something valuable, and I believe in tackling issues head-on. Whether it’s public backlash or a logistical hiccup, my approach is to be open and address it with integrity. I am not interested in sugar-coating or hiding behind polished responses. Our customers value honesty, so we make it a point to respond in a way that shows we respect them and their trust in us.

The Honey Pot Company has also made strides in reaching underserved communities. What drives your commitment to social impact?

Access is everything. I believe that personal care should be available to everyone, regardless of their background. We’ve partnered with organizations and made donations to ensure that our products can reach those who may not typically have access. This commitment goes back to why I started the company. If we are only helping a select few, then we are not fulfilling our purpose. This approach lets us make a broader impact and support communities that are often overlooked.

As a leader, what’s the most important lesson you have learned on this journey?

That authenticity goes a long way. People can tell when something is real versus when it’s just marketing. The best thing I can do as a leader is to stay true to my values and ensure those values shape every part of our company. Whether it’s through our products, our customer interactions, or the way we treat each other as a team, authenticity has to be at the center. It’s how we’ve built trust and how we’ll keep it as we move forward.
