Education is becoming more connected to digital technology, giving students new ways to learn through coding, robotics, artificial intelligence, and interactive software. Digital tools can give educators more information about student activity while creating new ways to present lessons, assignments, and feedback.

Technology is also extending learning beyond the computer screen. Handwriting, physical learning materials and classroom activities can be converted into digital information, allowing software to examine how students work through problems rather than focusing only on their final answers.

Connected education platforms can also bring lesson management, assignments, evaluation and student activity into one system. For younger learners, coding robots can make programming more accessible through physical interaction, while AI can analyze learning activity and provide feedback based on individual work.

These technologies are creating a closer link between physical and digital learning. Coding, robotics, handwriting, classroom interaction, and AI can now form part of the same educational experience, giving students different ways to engage with lessons and giving educators more information about the learning process.

DABIDA Corp. was established in March 2019, formerly under the name GeniRobot Co., LTD, as an EdTech startup focused on education technology. The company's GENIBOT educational coding robot gives learners from age 4 through the late-teen years a physical way to learn coding, artificial intelligence, and STEAM concepts.

GENIBOT uses 47 physical coding cards for unplugged programming and also works with Android and iOS devices, Scratch 3.0, Entry, Micro, and Python. Bluetooth connectivity enables communication between students and between teachers and students. Accessories, including a pen holder, an arm holder, and LEGO plates, add further activities to the robot.

Connecting Robotics with Digital Learning

DABIDA pairs GENIBOT with LIMS, a cloud-based interactive coding education platform. LIMS enables two-way communication between educators and students and allows instructors to control individual GENIBOT units in real time during classroom or remote lessons. The platform also lets students work independently.

LIMS includes live assignments, real-time evaluation, and class management functions. Teachers can review student activity reports after learning sessions, while the system can accommodate communication for up to 49 students in a class. This gives educators digital information from coding activities alongside the physical work carried out with GENIBOT.

Moving From Answers to Learning Processes

DABIDA has also brought AI-powered handwriting analysis into its education portfolio through GeniTeacher, which digitizes handwritten work and analyzes how students solve problems, including their working process rather than only the final answer. GeniTeacher can provide personalized feedback, hints, and study recommendations, while working with GeniPen, tablets, and styluses.

The handwriting technology gives DABIDA a way to capture learning activities from both paper and digital devices. Recent coverage of GeniTeacher describes the system as analyzing students’ solution sequences and thinking patterns, with the resulting information used to provide step-by-step guidance and learning data. DABIDA has also presented GeniPen and GeniClass as part of this technology portfolio.

Extending AI Education Technology

DABIDA’s product range also includes GENISTICK, a Bluetooth dongle that connects GENIBOT units with programming software. SingleLink connects one robot, while MultiLink can connect up to 18 units. GENISTICK works with Scratch 3.0, Entry, and Python and uses Bluetooth 5.1.

GENICAM adds camera-based AI activities to GENIBOT through a wireless webcam with AI object detection. The system can be used for autonomous-driving exercises and AI coding lessons and works with Teachable Machine and TensorFlow. DABIDA has also taken GeniTeacher beyond Korea, including an exclusive distribution agreement with Brazil-based MKR announced in September 2025.

ABOUT | EUN-SEUNG JACKIE LEE

Eun-Seung Jackie Lee is the CEO of DABIDA Corp. He leads the development of AI-based education technology, including GeniTeacher, which analyzes students’ handwritten problem-solving processes. GeniTeacher was presented at a global media event in Seoul in July 2026.

Lee has also led the international expansion of GeniTeacher. In September 2025, DABIDA entered an exclusive distribution agreement with Brazil-based MKR for deployment of GeniTeacher across Brazil. The platform works with GeniPen, tablets, and styluses and uses AI to analyze handwritten work and provide personalized feedback, hints, and study recommendations.

DABIDA pairs GENIBOT with LIMS, a cloud-based interactive coding education platform. LIMS enables two-way communication between educators and students and allows instructors to control individual GENIBOT units in real time during classroom or remote lessons. The platform also lets students work independently.
